We’re Hiring: Finance & Admin Officer
Position Overview:
As a Finance & Admin Officer at CORE, you will be an integral part of our Finance and Administration team. Reporting directly to the Manager, Finance & Admin, you will handle a variety of financial activities, ensuring they align with our established policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficient Client Invoicing: Ensure prompt and accurate management of client invoicing and receipting processes.
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform timely reconciliations for all bank accounts to maintain financial accuracy.
- Tax Compliance: Prepare monthly Tax Returns and Salaries and Wages Tax submissions accurately and on schedule.
- Balance Sheet Reconciliation: Ensure both timely and precise reconciliations of balance sheets.
- Supplier Payment Management: Oversee supplier payments and maintain meticulous reconciliations to ensure financial integrity.
- Debt Collection: Actively engage in debt collection to ensure timely receivables management.
- Payroll Oversight: Manage payroll preparation responsibilities in the absence of the Payroll Officer, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Financial Reporting Coordination: Coordinate all aspects of month-end financial reporting, ensuring comprehensive and timely submissions.
- Audit Support: Provide robust support during external financial audit engagements to facilitate a smooth audit process.
What We’re Looking For:
- Educational Background: Possess a degree or diploma in Business, Accounting, or a related field.
- Relevant Experience: Minimum of two years’ experience in a comparable role.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity in using Xero and MYOB accounting software; goPayroll system and MS Office Suite.
- Excel Expertise: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel is highly beneficial.
- Confidentiality: Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Deadline Orientation: Demonstrated capability to meet stringent reporting deadlines effectively.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
