Port Moresby, May 31, 2024 – In the aftermath of the landslide in the Enga Province, in the Northern region of Papua New Guinea on May 24, 2024, TotalEnergies has responded to the call for support from the National Disaster Centre, joining forces with other industrial players to provide emergency humanitarian aid to the people affected.
TotalEnergies EP PNG Ltd has pledged monetary assistance to the value of PGK 1 million to the National Disaster Centre, as well as logistical support via helicopter and essential goods including food, solar lamps and hygiene kits which are planned to be provided within the next 48 hours.
This operation is carried out in coordination with the National Disaster Centre and the United Nations who co-lead the relief mission.
